Wisconsin – A Wisconsin woman was kiIIed by her famiIy memners following a famiIy aItercation last week. Now, a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girI and a 21-year-old woman, reIatives of the victim, 29-year-old AshIey, were arrested following the deadIy shooting of the Wisconsin mother-of-four. The young teen is accused of puIIing the trigger after an argument escalated outside her home shortly before 11 p.m., police said.
Police confirmed that other family members, including the two sisters, are also facing charges related to the incident. Authorities have forwarded the case for review by the District Attorney’s Office .
Per reports, the victim was involved in a heated dispute with her famiIy members before she was fatally shot. The altercation was being livestreamed on sociaI media when the shooting occurred, according to authorities and eyewitnesses .
Friends reported the shooting unfolded in full view of bystanders and livestream viewers. AnaIyssa, a close friend who witnessed the aftermath, told responding officers that she heard the teen say, “Don’t shoot me,” just before hearing the gunfire. She said the victim stumbled onto the sidewalk, visibly shaking, before collapsing in someone’s arms.
‘They started beating her with a bat and stabbing her, and she got up from that, and they were still scared, so they had to shoot her? It’s like, it’s just crazy,’the woman also said. ‘And it’s just over nothing. Like, it’s over regular, resolvable things.’
The woman also claims the people arguing with the victim were her teenage brother, two sisters, and her mother. The woman also told local news outlet the family argued on social media before they showed up at her apartment.
Investigators from the local police department’s homicide division processed the scene that night. Officers confirmed a single gunshot struck the victim in the chest. Crime scene technicians collected ballistic evidence and recovered the firearm. They also secured digital evidence from bystanders’ phones and video streams to corroborate the sequence of events.
At least three family members were taken into custody. Police are continuing to search for additional suspects, and the District Attorney’s office is expected to announce charges shortly .
The victim’s parent, Tiara, who was also briefly held in custody, denied involvement in the shooting and told detectives she stayed to comfort her daughter until authorities arrived. The woman said she had urged the victim to call the police amid the confrontation.
