Fargo, N.D. – On Wednesday, January 29, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Red River Valley SWAT Team and Metro Street Crimes Unit assisted the Fargo Police Department in executing a high-risk search warrant in the 5900 block of 25th St. S.

The operation targeted a suspect in an aggravated assault case from December 2024.

Given the suspect’s criminal history, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was called in to safely carry out the warrant and apprehend the individual.

The search led to the arrest of 36-year-old Paul Pelaez, a Fargo resident, who was subsequently transported to Cass County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.
