Bismarck, N.D. – Significant progress has been made on the 52nd Avenue construction project, with the roadway now fully paved with asphalt and connected to the new intersection at Century Avenue.

Major concrete paving took place last Saturday, followed by another on Thursday, with an additional paving session scheduled for this Saturday. Once completed, the section east of Roosevelt Drive will be approximately 80% finished, leaving only a final paving layer and minor side street tie-ins.

Next, crews will begin constructing the new sidewalk and shared-use path to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

Despite recent weather-related delays, the project remains on schedule and continues to move forward steadily. Officials expect completion to align closely with the original timeline.

Project leaders thanked residents and travelers for their continued patience and cooperation, noting that the improvements will result in safer travel, smoother roads, and stronger community connectivity once complete.
