North Dakota – The North Dakota Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation hosted the Senate Appropriations – Human Resources Division at the North Dakota State Penitentiary for discussions on Senate Bill 2015.

DOCR expressed appreciation for the committee’s visit and for the involvement of various community partners in the event.

Organizations such as Shining Light Prison Fellowship, The Last Mile, Vera Institute of Justice, Ashland University, Service Dogs for America, F5 Project, Ministry on the Margins, and Evangel Rough Rider Industries participated in the discussions.

The visit provided lawmakers with insights into correctional programs and rehabilitation efforts aimed at supporting incarcerated individuals in their transition back into society.
