North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on the evening of March 12, 2025, in Fargo.

At approximately 7:57 pm, a 60-year-old male bicyclist was struck by a northbound passenger vehicle at the intersection of NP Avenue and 10th Street North. The bicyclist had been traveling westbound on NP Avenue when the collision occurred.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle involved in the crash was a white SUV. After the crash, the driver did not stop to assist and fled the scene, leaving the injured cyclist behind.

The victim was transported by Sanford Ambulance to Sanford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The NDHP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and driver responsible for the crash. Authorities believe the vehicle may have sustained damage to its front area and undercarriage.
