North Dakota – A 45-year-old Oklahoma man, Anthony Glenn, has been extradited from Missouri and is now in custody at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center, facing charges of human trafficking and tampering with evidence, according to the Bismarck Police Department.

Glenn was arrested in Missouri on April 3, 2025, after a Burleigh County warrant was issued following a Bismarck Police investigation that began earlier this year. The investigation was launched on February 24, 2025, after officers identified suspected human trafficking activity connected to a local hotel.

As part of the operation, an undercover Bismarck officer responded to an online advertisement commonly associated with illicit sexual services. The officer arranged a meeting and was directed to a Bismarck hotel room registered under Glenn’s name. Attempts to make contact at the hotel room were unsuccessful, prompting officers to obtain and execute a search warrant.

Inside, they located two adult women, ages 27 and 36, both from out of state. The women admitted to engaging in commercial sex work. Police noted the absence of common travel documentation, such as identification or financial cards, raising concerns of coercion often associated with human trafficking cases.

Investigators seized the women’s mobile phones, which underwent forensic analysis. Evidence allegedly revealed that Glenn coordinated the women’s activities and sent messages consistent with coercive control, indicating he facilitated the commercial sex work.

Glenn is scheduled for an initial court appearance at the Burleigh County Courthouse this afternoon.

Authorities emphasized their continued efforts to combat human trafficking in the Bismarck area and encouraged anyone with information or suspicions of such activity to report it. Victims of trafficking are urged to seek help through local services or by contacting the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or texting “HELP” to 233733.
