Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Police Department reminded the community that only one week remains to apply for the upcoming Citizen Police Academy.
The program offers participants an in-depth, behind-the-scenes experience with both sworn officers and civilian staff who contribute daily to the safety and smooth operation of the community.
The academy provides an opportunity to learn how the department operates, engage directly with officers and staff, and build stronger community connections.
Classes will begin on September 11 and will be held Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Bismarck Police Department.
Interested individuals must submit their applications by August 17 at 11:59 p.m. Applications can be completed online at bismarcknd.gov/2360/Citizen-Police-Academy or in person at the Bismarck Police Department, located at 700 S 9th St.
