North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol warned drivers of slick road conditions caused by snow and strong winds across much of the state.
Officials reported that northbound I-29 and eastbound I-94, as of 11:00 PM on January 31, 2026, were especially hazardous.
Motorists were advised to reduce speed, increase following distance, and be prepared for sudden changes in road conditions.
The Highway Patrol urged all drivers to exercise caution and monitor weather and traffic updates before traveling.
