Bismarck, N.D. – The City of Bismarck has opened two temporary tree branch collection sites, giving residents a convenient way to dispose of small quantities of branches.

According to city officials, roll-off dumpsters have been placed at the Ash Coulee Water Tower Grass site in north Bismarck and the Cottonwood Soccer Parking Lot Grass site at Santa Fe Avenue and 12th Street in south Bismarck.

The collection sites are available for Bismarck residents to drop off tree branches that are less than four inches in diameter. Officials said the service is intended for residential use only and is not available for commercial disposal.

The city emphasized that the roll-off dumpsters are designated exclusively for tree branches. Grass clippings, household garbage, and other types of waste are not permitted.

Officials said the temporary collection sites were established to provide residents with a convenient option for disposing of small tree branches while helping keep neighbourhoods clean and reducing improper dumping.

Residents are encouraged to use the designated drop-off locations and follow the disposal guidelines to ensure the sites remain available and accessible for the community.
