Bismarck, N.D. – According to the police officials, his name is Jonathan Thompson and he is accused of grabbing the boy, throwing him to the ground, hitting him and punching him last week.
The 36-year-old man had allegedly been drinking.
Police found a scratch mark and bruises on the boy’s body.
Bismarck Police Department officers arrested Thompson and took him to the Burleigh-Morton Detention Center.
The suspect may not have contact with the boy.
