Bismarck, N.D. – Following a severe storm, Forestry and Street Division crews in Bismarck worked through the night to remove downed trees and debris from city streets.
Immediate hazards were addressed first, with efforts focused on emergency routes and major arterial roads to ensure safe travel for residents and emergency services.
Full cleanup operations across the rest of the city began on Monday, as crews expanded their efforts to residential areas and side streets.
Residents were encouraged to report downed limbs from boulevard trees by calling Public Works at 701-355-1700.
City officials thanked the public for their patience and cooperation as crews responded to the widespread damage left in the storm’s wake.
