Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Historical Society will present a free program on the archaeology of Bismarck at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, in Meeting Room A of the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library.

Tour guides Damita Engle and Signe Snortland will explore the hidden history beneath the city’s streets, discussing discoveries from an abandoned storm drain, archaeological work at the University of Mary, and evidence from the Battle of Apple Creek.

The event will also showcase findings from the Larson Village site, including photographs and reconstructed pottery.

The program is open to the public.
