Bismarck, N.D. – Traffic is moving normally again along Main Ave in downtown Bismarck after construction crews reopened all lanes ahead of schedule.

The city announced that all lanes had been reopened to traffic and traffic signals were back to normal operation.

One small repair remains at the Main Ave. and 7th St. intersection.

The work will require the eastbound-to-southbound right-turn lane to be closed for a couple of days.

Permanent road striping also still needs to be completed throughout the project.

The city said the striping is planned for off-peak hours and will be carried out using mobile operations and flaggers.

City officials thanked the contractor for completing the main portion of the work and reopening the lanes ahead of schedule.
