North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is now accepting applications for the 2025 Youth Academy, offering an exciting opportunity for teens interested in law enforcement.

This free, three-day training program will take place in Bismarck and provide participants with hands-on experience in various aspects of a career with the Highway Patrol.

Attendees will receive instruction from NDHP troopers on traffic stops, K9 operations, crash investigations, CPR certification, weapons training, and more. In addition to the practical training, participants will have the chance to network with other teens and develop leadership skills.

As an added bonus, two outstanding attendees will be awarded college scholarships, courtesy of the North Dakota American Legion Auxiliary, at the conclusion of the academy.
