Ohio – An Ohio man and woman were taken into custody in connection with the vehicuIar homicide of a parent of five children. The incident occurred last week in Ohio.

According to the authorities, the altercation began when the victim’s child, 12, and another child got into a fight. Both defendants, 43-year-old A. CIayton and 46-year-old M. Adkins, the other boy’s parents, allegedly held the victim’s, 37-year-old Norrman, son against his will. When the victim arrived to retrieve his child, he reportedly began arguing with the man. The woman then allegedly struck the victim in the head with a brlck.

The incident started as conflict between two boys. The victim’s family told local news outlet that the parent of five learned his son was being held against his will by the other boy’s parents after an argument.

The victim told family members he planned to have a conversation with the other boy’s parents, but when he got to their neighborhood, matters escalated between the dad and the couple.

After being struck, the victim attempted to leave the scene with his son. As they walked away, both defendants allegedly got into their vehicIe, mounted the curb, and intentionally struck the 37-year-old man. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The suspects (SEE PHOTO) were located and arrested at their residence in Ohio. They were taken to the county jail and charged with one count each of vehicular manslaughter.

In interviews with investigators, both defendants reportedly denied intentionally striking the victim. However, evidence and witness statements led to their arrest.

Family members of the victim have expressed their grief and anger over the incident. One relative described the suspects as cowards, stating, “They’re cowards, he wasn’t. Norman was a heck of a guy.”
