North Dakota – A 15-year-old male was seriously injured early Saturday morning in a T-bone crash involving a dirt bike and a vehicle in Williston, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 12:38 a.m. on July 5 at the intersection of 29th Street West and 29th Court West.

Authorities say the teen was operating a 2025 Kawasaki dirt bike westbound on 29th Street West when a 2007 Dodge Charger, driven by a 33-year-old woman, entered the intersection from 29th Court West, heading toward a nearby apartment complex parking lot.

The dirt bike struck the Dodge Charger in the intersection. Upon impact, the rider was ejected and collided with a parked Ford F-150. Authorities confirmed the teen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The dirt bike rider sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment. The driver of the Charger and her 30-year-old male passenger were both wearing seat belts and were not injured.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williston Police Department, Williston Fire, Williston Ambulance, and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office.

Road and weather conditions were reported as good at the time of the incident. The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed as of this time.
