MINOT, N.D. – On Monday, April 12, the state reported an additional 1,994 COVID-19 cases, totaling 544,046 for the entire pandemic, and 2 additional deaths, totaling 6,959 for the entire pandemic. Becker County reported 134 active cases, a decrease of 16 active cases since Friday. Otter Tail County reported 97 active cases, an increase of 31 active cases since Friday.

- Becker: 3,470, up 12 cases since April 11 (48 deaths).
- Clay (Moorhead): 7,690, up 32 cases since April 11 (89 deaths).
- Otter Tail: 5,351, up 20 cases since April 11 (73 deaths).
- Hubbard: 1,685, up 7 cases since April 11 (41 deaths).
- Norman: 513, up 1 case since April 11 (9 deaths).
- Mahnomen: 489, no new cases since April 11 (8 deaths).
- Clearwater: 756, up 1 case since April 11 (14 deaths).
- Wadena: 1,412, up 12 cases since April 11 (21 deaths).In Otter Tail County as of April 12, there were 97 active cases, an increase of 31 active cases since Friday, with 5,254 cases no longer contagious, according to Otter Tail County Public Health.
In Becker County as of April 12, there were 134 active cases, a decrease of 16 active cases since Friday, with 3,336 cases no longer contagious, according to Becker County Public Health.
In Cass County, N.D. (Fargo) as of April 12, there were 383 active COVID-19 cases, a decrease of 83 active cases since Friday, according to the North Dakota Health Department. There have been 23,459 cases reported in Cass County since the pandemic began, including 199 deaths.
