North Dakota – A 45-year-old woman from Tioga died Wednesday night after a head-on collision on Highway 52, about nine miles southeast of Harvey.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:26 p.m. near mile marker 177.5. A 2015 Nissan Rogue driven by the woman was traveling northwest when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2007 Kenworth truck traveling southeast.
The woman died at the scene. The driver of the Kenworth, a 73-year-old man from Minot, was injured and transported to St. Aloisius-Harvey for treatment.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash, and light mist was reported in the area. The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
The Harvey Police Department, Harvey Fire Department, Fessenden Fire Department, Fessenden Ambulance, and Wells County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
