Bismarck, N.D. – The City of Bismarck’s Human Relations Committee will host a Community Conversation Forum focused on homelessness on Tuesday, April 21.

The free public event is designed to facilitate discussions around the challenges faced by individuals in Bismarck who have been unhoused or are currently experiencing homelessness.

“Our Community Conversation on homelessness in November welcomed nearly 100 attendees, demonstrating how important these issues are to community members in Bismarck,” said HRC Chair Katie Houle.

“The Human Relations Committee decided to continue these conversations and offer another time for City leadership, service providers, and individuals who have experienced homelessness to come together and discuss challenges and solutions.”

The forum will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dream Center, located at 1805 Park Avenue. The program will include a panel discussion followed by an opportunity for public input.

The Human Relations Committee works to create an atmosphere of inclusion, equality, and accessibility through education and outreach, recognizing the value of a diverse community. The committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the City/County Building.
