Bismarck, N.D. – According to the police officials, the woman was walking along Highway 83.
This unfortunate incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning near Wilton.
Her name is Sandra Finley and she was walking on Highway 83 in the left southbound lane from Wilton to Bismarck.
A 47-year-old driver was unable to avoid Finley before the semi struck her.
He pulled over and remained at the scene.
The 45-year-old woman was later transported to Sanford-Fargo where she died from her injuries.
