Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Fire Department will host its Second Annual Fire Prevention Week Open House on Thursday, Oct. 8, inviting families to Fire Station 4 for an evening focused on fire safety, community activities and demonstrations.

The free event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fire Station 4, located at 4103 Miriam Drive.

Community members will have the opportunity to meet local firefighters and learn more about the work they do to protect the Bismarck community.

The open house will also feature fire and rescue demonstrations, giving attendees an opportunity to see emergency response operations up close while learning about the importance of fire safety.

Children will be able to take part in activities during the event, while families can enjoy food and spend time together at the fire station.

The department is encouraging residents to use the event as an opportunity to learn important fire safety tips and connect with local firefighters in a family-friendly setting.

The open house is free and open to the community.

Officials are also reminding attendees to follow parking signs when arriving at the station. Visitors should park only in designated areas to help keep the event organized and ensure emergency access remains available throughout the evening.
