Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck firefighters joined the Mandan Fire Department and other regional departments for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, an event held to honor the 343 firefighters, police officers, and paramedics who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Participants climbed 110 stories, symbolizing the height of the World Trade Center towers, as a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.

The memorial climb served as both a remembrance of those lost and a reminder of the commitment shared by firefighters and first responders across the nation.
