Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz and North Dakota First Lady Kjersti Armstrong served as celebrity readers at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, helping launch the Student Summer Reading Program.
The event, held yesterday afternoon, featured a variety of engaging activities for students, including experiments with North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, dancing with Northern Plains Dance, animal artifact encounters with Dakota Zoo, and creative sessions with the Burleigh County Library Bookmobile.
