Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck Police Department celebrated a major milestone for Royce, a young cancer survivor who recently completed his final spinal appointment after more than 800 days of chemotherapy.
Royce was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was just 5 years old. The department previously supported him during a Christmas escort in 2025.
Police said Royce recently completed his final spinal appointment, marking another major step in his treatment journey.
Officer Horne stopped by as Royce finished the appointment and gave him a special “final spinal high five.”
Royce is scheduled to ring the bell on Oct. 3, marking the completion of more than 800 days of chemotherapy.
The Bismarck Police Department shared its pride in Royce and congratulated him on reaching the milestone.
“We are so proud of you, Royce!” the department said.
