Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Police Department announced that its Christmas Giving Tree is now set up and filled with donated toys and stuffed animals for local children.
The department invited families to stop by and select a gift for any child who may need a little extra joy this holiday season.
Community members can visit the department Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to choose a gift.
No appointment is needed, and visitors are welcome to take what they need and continue on their way.
The department asked everyone to be considerate and take only what is necessary so that as many families as possible can benefit from the available gifts.
Officers also extended their appreciation to the community for generously donating toys and helping bring holiday cheer to children throughout the area.
