Minot, N.D. – According to the city officials, starting next month, all City Hall business will be conducted at the new City Hall, located in the former Wells Fargo building.
Officials also announced that all utility billing payments will be taken in person only at the new City Hall; the current City Hall will be closed.
Central Dispatch employees will remain in their current location until moving to the downtown City Hall later this year.
The drive-up drop box located in front of the current City Hall will remain, but only for Municipal Court payments. Utility billing payments should be dropped off at the new City Hall.
An outdoor drop box will be available at the new location beginning May 1.
According to the city officials, this is the moving schedule:
- April 13: Packing begins for departments at current City Hall.
- April 17: Finance Department moves to new City Hall.
- April 17: One member of City Attorney office moves to new City Hall.
- April 18: Human Resources moves to new City Hall.
- April 18: City Manager, clerk move to new City Hall.
- April 19: Packing begins for departments at Public Works.
- April 20: Remainder of City Attorney office moves to new City Hall.
- April 24: City Assessors, NDR office, Economic Development move to new City Hall.
- April 26: Two members of Utility Billing move to new City Hall.
- April 28: Remainder of Utility Billing moves to new City Hall.
- April 28: Drop box in door at old City Hall closed. No payments taken there.
- May 1: All business conducted at new City Hall. Old City Hall closed.
- May 1: First City Council meeting at new City Hall.
