Fargo, N.D. – This week, the Fargo Police Department proudly welcomed the latest recruits to Fargo Police Academy Class VIII.
These 12 recruits were selected from a competitive pool of applicants after a comprehensive process that included applications, background checks, interviews, and more.
Over the next 18 weeks, the recruits will undergo intensive academy training to prepare for rewarding careers in law enforcement.
Upon completing the academy and successfully passing the ND-POST test, they will transition into FPD’s 16-week Police Training Officer Program.
During this phase, they will apply their classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios, responding to calls for service alongside seasoned officers.
