Bismarck, N.D. – On February 13, 2025, the nation’s longest-running giving day, Giving Hearts Day, is being celebrated for its remarkable impact on North Dakota and northwest Minnesota charities.
The event has raised $195 million since its inception, connecting nonprofits with donors to support local causes.
Mayor Mike Schmitz has emphasized the significance of the event in a statement, noting that it provides an important platform for local organizations to continue their work and engage with the community.
“Today is about celebrating local organizations and the positive difference they make in our communities,” Schmitz said.
Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour event, continues to help nonprofits across the region by offering them an opportunity to connect with donors who are eager to support causes that matter to them.
