North Dakota – A head-on collision on Highway 10 near 102nd Avenue SW, approximately five miles east of Dickinson, resulted in multiple injuries on the morning of June 15, according to a media release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 10:16 a.m. Mountain Time when a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500, traveling westbound, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 2009 Toyota Corolla. Road and weather conditions were reported to be good at the time of the incident.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 49-year-old man from Marshall, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and charges are pending.

The Toyota Corolla was occupied by a 27-year-old female driver from Dickinson, who suffered life-threatening injuries. She was initially transported to a local emergency room and later airlifted to Bismarck.

Two male passengers—a 34-year-old adult and a 2-year-old child, both from Dickinson—were also in the vehicle. The adult sustained injuries and was treated and released. The child, who was properly restrained in a car seat, was not injured.

Seatbelt usage for the Toyota occupants remains under investigation.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Stark County Sheriff’s Office, and Stark County Ambulance responded to the scene. The crash is currently under active investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
