North Dakota – A 25-year-old Cavalier man was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 29, according to a media release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The fatal rollover occurred around 4:30 p.m. on June 14, approximately 3.5 miles south of Pembina.
Authorities say the 2007 Big Dog K-9 motorcycle was traveling southbound when it failed to navigate a curve, left the roadway, and crashed.
The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road and weather conditions were reported to be good and sunny at the time of the crash.
The Pembina County Sheriff’s Office and Pembina Ambulance also responded to the scene alongside the Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The name of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
