Bismarck, N.D. – Starting Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the City of Bismarck will begin crack sealing on several arterial streets throughout the city.

While roads are expected to remain open to traffic, drivers may encounter lane shifts, reduced lane widths, or flaggers during the work.

The project is anticipated to last approximately three days, weather permitting. Locations scheduled for crack sealing include:

  • Tyler Parkway, from Pinto Place to Valley Drive

  • Divide Avenue, from 3rd Street to College Drive

  • Washington Street, from Avenue D to Divide Avenue

The exact order of work will be determined by the contractor. Motorists are encouraged to drive cautiously and follow posted signage in work areas.
