Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck Airport announced it hosted a group of veterans departing for Washington, D.C., and will send off another group to visit the memorials built in their honor.

The first flight took place on Sunday, September 21, and the next is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23.

Officials said travelers can expect increased activity and a patriotic atmosphere at the terminal on both mornings.

The airport encouraged visitors to take a moment to thank the veterans for their service and be part of this meaningful experience.

Arrival flights from the Western North Dakota Honor Flight are expected on September 22 and September 24 after 7 p.m., with additional information to be provided separately.
