Oklahoma – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported hazardous conditions on US Hwy 2 in Grand Forks County on Dec. 28, 2025.

Troopers said areas approximately six miles west of Grand Forks near mile marker 348 are experiencing zero visibility due to pillow drifts beginning to form. Officials advised against travel in the area.

Motorists who must travel in rural areas are urged to slow down and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Drivers should ensure their vehicles have a full tank of fuel and carry warm clothing, food, and water in case of becoming stranded.
