Grand Forks, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported updates from the US National Weather Service in Grand Forks, noting that the Blizzard Warning has been reduced due to improving conditions in the northern Red River Valley.

Officials said ongoing blowing snow continues to create whiteout conditions within the remaining warning area.

Outside of this zone, blowing snow may still cause periodic whiteout conditions.

Motorists are urged to use caution if traveling tonight and to check the latest road conditions before heading out.
