Bismarck, N.D. – Week 10 of the Bismarck Citizens Academy provided participants with an in-depth look at the city’s Public Health Department and the various programs that contribute to the well-being of the community.
Attendees toured the Public Health building, gaining insight into the city’s mosquito maintenance protocols, immunization safety, and other essential health services.
The academy, designed to educate residents about local government operations, allowed participants to engage with health officials and learn about the measures in place to protect public health.
The tour highlighted the city’s efforts in disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and community wellness initiatives.

Throughout the visit, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and better understand the role of public health services in everyday life.
