Bismarck, N.D. – According to the officials, there will be no garbage collection or curbside recycling (green route) collection on the holiday.
Holiday Schedule for Garbage and Recycling Collection (July 1 – July 5):
- Monday through Wednesday routes: Collected as scheduled.
- Thursday’s route (July 4th): Will be collected on Friday, July 5th.
- Garbage and Recycling must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on collection day or the evening before. Crews will not return for items not set out on time.
Landfill Hours of Operation:
- Open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Effective July 1st)
- Closed on Thursday, July 4th.
Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center:
- Located at the landfill.
- Open Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Closed on Thursday, July 4th.
- Open Saturday, July 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and adhere to the adjusted schedule for waste collection and landfill services during the holiday week. Regular operations will resume on Friday, July 5th, with the exception of Thursday’s collections.
