Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Police Department welcomed five new recruits during a swearing-in ceremony, marking the beginning of their careers in law enforcement.

Department officials said the new officers are entering a profession focused on protecting and serving the community with professionalism, courage, and compassion.

Leaders with the department expressed excitement about the recruits joining the agency and the contributions they are expected to make in the future.

The ceremony formally introduced Sean King, Christian Litzinger, Elijah Herman, Isaac Fleck, and Cory Aaron as the department’s newest recruits.

Bismarck Police Chief Chief Stugelmeyer participated in the event alongside the new officers.

Department officials congratulated the recruits and welcomed them to the agency as they begin training and transition into their new public safety roles serving the Bismarck community.
