Bismarck, N.D. – Earlier this month, the Bismarck Police K9 Unit participated in the Region 12 United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Narcotics Detection Trial in Alexandria, Minnesota, competing with 56 K9 teams from across the region.
Officer Wade Nordick and K9 Ember earned 1st place in the vehicle search competition, while Sgt. Garner Jones and K9 Titan, along with Officer Joseph Benke and K9 Mesa, secured 1st place as a team in the regional competition.
In addition, Sgt. Garner Jones and K9 Titan were honored with the USPCA Region 12 Narcotics Detection Case of the Quarter award for their outstanding performance.
