Bismarck, N.D. – The City of Bismarck recognized Daren Malard, an Engineering Technician III, as its City Star of the Month for his contributions to water and sewer infrastructure projects.

Malard’s work includes the design and construction observation of rehabilitation projects and new development infrastructure.

His research has introduced new construction methods that make projects more efficient, cost-effective, and less disruptive to the public, helping position Bismarck as a regional leader in these techniques.

City officials praised Malard for his collaboration within his department and across the organization, mentoring new employees and interns, and his dedication to the City of Bismarck.
