North Dakota – All eastbound lanes of I-94 at mile marker 205 reopened Friday evening after a temporary closure caused by farm equipment becoming stuck under an overpass, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol initially reported the closure at approximately 6:36 p.m. on Aug. 28 and advised motorists to expect delays while the obstruction was being addressed.
Drivers traveling eastbound were asked to use an alternate route if possible. Motorists were also able to use Exit 205 to leave the interstate and get back onto I-94.
The closure remained in effect for a period as crews worked to address the farm equipment that had become stuck beneath the overpass.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., the North Dakota Highway Patrol announced that all lanes had reopened to traffic.
Motorists were advised to remain alert while traveling through the area and to account for possible delays associated with the earlier closure.
