North Dakota – Governor Kelly Armstrong signed a proclamation at the ND State Capitol, recognizing April as the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of the children of our military families.

Governor Kelly Armstrong also took to social media to honor the children of military service members, recognizing their sacrifices and the support they provide to their families.

In his statement, Armstrong emphasized the unwavering commitment of military families, stating, “Our men and women in uniform are ‘Always There,’ no matter the mission, and their children and families serve and sacrifice with unconditional support.”

As April marks the Month of the Military Child, Armstrong extended his gratitude to these young individuals, acknowledging their essential role in supporting their service members.

He concluded his message with a heartfelt salute to military children across the state, thanking them for their service.
