Bismarck, N.D. – According to the court documents, her name is Sierra Lang and she is charged with felony child neglect along with a misdemeanor for allegedly having control of a vehicle with children while under the influence of alcohol.
The 25-year-old woman waived her preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty.
Judge Nesvig set a trial for Nov. 17 at the Burleigh County Courthouse.
About the incident – This unfortunate incident occurred righe before 12 p.m. June 21.
Bismarck Police Department officers responded on a report that two children were alone in a vehicle.
The woman was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle when police arrived.
She said that she was inside the bar for five minutes.
A bar employee told police she was inside for as long as 40 minutes.
Her blood alcohol content was 0.1%.
