Bismarck, ND – A 42-year-old man was found dead after a fire was extinguished in Glen Ullin on the evening of January 6. According to the Morton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a structure fire in the area around 8:40 p.m.
The Glen Ullin Fire Department quickly arrived on scene and worked to put out the flames. Once the fire was under control, officials conducted a search of the building. During the search, they discovered the body of the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. However, authorities have stated that there is no indication of foul play at this time.
The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Authorities continue to gather information as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
