Minot, ND — A traffic stop on Saturday evening led to a brief pursuit and an arrest after the driver fled from officers and crashed into another vehicle.
According to the Minot Police Department, the incident began at approximately 6:24 p.m. on January 11 when officers attempted to stop a Lexus LS in the 1800 block of South Broadway. The driver, a 30-year-old man from Minot, accelerated and fled the scene, reaching speeds of 60-65 mph. Due to adverse road conditions, officers decided not to pursue the vehicle immediately.
