North Dakota – The North Dakota Department of Agriculture and the North Dakota Agriculture Association will host anhydrous ammonia safety training sessions across the state in March.

Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring emphasized the importance of the training, stating that anyone handling, transferring, or transporting anhydrous ammonia at storage facilities must complete annual documented safety training. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

The sessions will cover topics such as the chemical properties and health hazards of anhydrous ammonia, facility and nurse tank maintenance, and regulatory updates.

– March 5 – Minot, Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center, 9:30 a.m. & 1 p.m.

– March 27 – Fargo, Homewood Suites, 9:30 a.m.
