North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) is once again vying for a spot in the annual “America’s Best-Looking Cruiser” calendar, a nationwide contest organized by the American Association of State Troopers.

In an update shared Tuesday, NDHP reported that it is currently ranked ninth after the first day of voting in the 12th annual competition. The agency’s K-9 officer Gary — a familiar and beloved mascot in the NDHP community — is encouraging supporters across North Dakota and beyond to help boost the state’s standing.

The public can cast their vote online through a designated survey platform. The 13 cruisers receiving the highest number of votes will be featured in the 2026 edition of the wall calendar, with the top-ranked vehicle earning the cover spot.

Voting is open to all and the Highway Patrol is encouraging residents to participate and share the contest with others.

The calendar serves as a fundraiser for the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which supports troopers and their families nationwide.
