Bismarck, N.D. – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 12 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
The Bismarck Fire Department received a call for light smoke at a home on the 1100 block of University Dr.
The responding crews reportedly discovered a trailer house with smoke coming out of a roof vent.
The engine crew spoke with the homeowner who said that everyone was out. When firefighters entered the house, they found smoke and fire coming from a back bedroom.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and then conducted an overhaul of the fire room to find remaining smoldering materials.
No injuries were reported by occupants or firefighters.
Fire damage was contained to the room of origin with smoke damage extending into the hallway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
