Bismarck, N.D. – The City of Bismarck announced that Yard Waste Collection Site #2, located at the Riverwood Golf Course parking lot at 725 Riverwood Drive, will be temporarily closed on July 29 and 30, 2025.
The closure is necessary to allow for resurfacing of the parking lot, during which the yard waste containers will be removed.
Officials expect the site to reopen on July 31, weather permitting.
Residents are encouraged to use alternative yard waste collection sites during this period. Alternate locations include:

Santa Fe Avenue & 12th Street (Cottonwood Park parking lot)

Thayer Avenue & Griffin Street

Georgia Street & Park Avenue

Community Garden by Larks Baseball (East of South Hannifan Street, between West Sweet Avenue and Memorial Highway)
