Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck Fire Department held its first Fire Prevention Week Open House at Fire Station 4, welcoming families, friends, and neighbors for a day of demonstrations, food, and community fun.
Attendees had the opportunity to see firefighters in action as crews demonstrated rope rescues, vehicle extrications, fire attack techniques, and search drills. The department also shared fire safety tips throughout the event.
Fire officials expressed gratitude for the strong community turnout and support that made the open house a success.
They also thanked sponsors including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola, Spiffy Biff, Kirkwood Bank & Trust, Ace Towing, and Bismarck Public Works for helping make the event possible.
The department said it looks forward to hosting the event again next year.
