Bismarck, N.D. — The Bismarck Fire Department responded to a structure fire in West Central Bismarck early Friday morning.

At approximately 12:50 a.m. on February 6, 2026, crews were dispatched to a single-family home on the 400 block of West Avenue C. Firefighters arrived around 12:55 a.m. to find smoke and flames coming from a first-floor window.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and crews conducted a search for occupants and an overhaul to ensure no hidden flames remained.

The home was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
